Janet handles some of KJK’s most procedurally and emotionally challenging civil litigation, including complex commercial litigation and domestic relations and family law. In all areas of her practice, she confidently guides clients through every stage of the legal process, from negotiation and alternative dispute resolution when possible, to court appearances and trial when all other avenues of resolution have failed. In doing so, she works to ensure that her clients are informed and supported throughout.
Janet brings compassion and empathy to her work in domestic and family law, demonstrating good dedication to clients during what is often one of the most vulnerable times in a person’s life. She guides clients in Northeast Ohio through what are often emotionally-charged legal matters, including divorce, dissolution, child custody and juvenile court proceedings involving unwed parents. She also assists individuals in preparing prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, helping them establish clarity and protection in their personal and financial affairs. Janet’s client-centered approach ensures that she serves not only as a zealous advocate but as an attentive listener and advisor.
Outside of the office, Janet enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, Telemachus and Eurydice, gardening and cheering on her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.
